In the hills of Monferrato, an existing ruin is being reimagined as a place of contemporary inhabitation. A delicate glass casing wraps the historic structure like a jewel, protecting its memory while allowing new life to enter. Select parts of the ruin are completed with discreet modern walls, housing kitchens, bathrooms, and essential infrastructure — creating a dialogue between transparency, permanence, and the spirit of a bygone legacy.

A ruin is not an ending, but a fragment of a modern fairytale in the making.
